Swedish Massage
Swedish Massage is based on the Western concepts of anatomy and physiology, and employs light to medium pressure using multiple hand massage techniques such as gliding effleurage, kneading petrissage, friction and tapotement.
Swedish Massage can be slow and gentle, middle of the road, or even vigorous depending on your desires. Every Swedish massage is fully customized to fit your needs and is set with an intention for you to mindfully receive as much healing as possible.
How It Works: This style is performed lying down on a massage table. Regions of the body are discretely undraped in order to apply nourishing oils to your skin in preparation for the massage work.
Client Instructions:
- Undress to your level of comfort
- Lie down on massage table between the sheets
- Cover up
Other Benefits:
- dissolution of scar tissue and adhesions
- increased circulation of blood
- relaxation and pain relief
